What this quote is trying to say is that no matter in any circumstance you should always choose the right. You should never choose the wrong because your mind is telling you to you have to choose the right because that’s the character you should have. In any case that you’re in you should always choose the right. In any moment you should choose the right.  For example if you’re in the streets walking and you see that the person dropped her wallet you shouldn’t even think about it twice you suppose to run to the wallet and pick it up and hand it back to the person that it belongs too.  And if you don’t return it to the person you will feel guilty for having someone's money that does not belong to you. If you stay with the wallet your conscious will be dirty because you’re going to be thinking about how the person feels. So that’s why You should never think about to choosing the wrong. If you ever do try to eliminate that thought because that’s really bad to think about. So always choose the right and the right decisions. So yes i do agree with Theodore Roosevelt because you always choose the right and make the right decisions.
