“Character Matters Most” - Dale Murphy

What Dale is trying to say is that character matter the most because the way you act is the way that people know you. You always have to give a good first impression because that's the way it's going to define your character. Never cheat or lie because that might ruin a lot of things for people. For example you have to have a good character because that’s how people get to know you. Saying like if you’re smoking and sees you that person is going to think that you're not well educated and think bad of you. That's why character matters the most. Character is what defines your personality. Nothing matters more than your character. You have to show your character out in order for people to know the way you are. Your character should matter a lot because that’s how people are going to know the way you are. But also don’t be showing a bad character because you might not know what the other person is saying of you. So yes i do agree with Dale Murphy because character matters the most. Always have a good character no matter what.

. Patrick’s Day

Who was St. Patrick’s:  St. patrick’s , the patron saint of ireland is one of the christianity's most known figures. But for all of his prevalence in culture. Namely the holiday held on the day of his death that bears his name his life will remain in somewhat of a mystery.

What is the purpose of St. patrick's day? The origins of St. Patrick’s day celebrates the roman catholic feast day of the patron saint of ireland.

Why is St. Patrick’s Day designated when it is?  On St.Patrick’s Day it is customary to wear shamrocks and / or green clothing  or accessories. St. Patrick is said to have used the shamrock, a three leaved plant, to explain the holy trinity tot the pagan irish

Why a certain color on St. patrick’s? Wearing of the green. On St. Patrick’s Day it is customary to wear shamrocks and or green clothing.

Ophthalmologist

Duties and responsibilities: While the ophthalmologist can be thought of generically as eye doctors and perform some of the same duties as optometrists, they also differ in that ophthalmologist also perform eye surgery and treat the eye diseases.

Salary: 300,000 female ophthalmologist

Education: ophthalmologist degrees and education requirements. Ophthalmologist are medical doctors who treat diseases of the eyes. In order for them to become an ophthalmologist students typically complete a bachelor’s program in 4 years doctor of medicine program.

Demand or need for this profession: they need to have decision making skills and detail oriented.     And interpersonal skills.

Reflection: i feel like i would want to be an ophthalmologist because i feel like it’s a good job to be in

“The best way to predict your future is to create it” - charles ketterer

The best way you could predict your future is by creating it. You have to create all your goals and then accomplish them , that’s the only way he you will accomplish his goals. You have to create your future in order to have a good future. Form example i have a life planning goal journal with 610 goals right now and i plan to have more because i want to accomplish each one of them in the future. Planning them right now is going to make my life so much easier because i have  a lot of goals and i will just look back to them and want to do more.  I predict to have a bright future. In order to accomplish that i will have to make it come true by doing good in school. I agree with charles because that the best way to predict your future is to create it.

                                                                                                                                      

Operating Room Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: part of their job is to put the gowns and gloves on the surgeon and surgical assistant. Scrub surgical technologist set up a sterile operating room environment and are responsible for maintaining that field.

 

Salary: $45,287

Education: OR technicians are also called surgical technologist, they assist surgeons, nurses and physicians before and during surgical procedures. They also prepare the OR room they also manage equipment and perform basic surgical tasks.

Technicians are working in an operating room environment need to be emotionally stable and quickly respond to surgeon’s need during an operation.

What Otto is trying to say is that you have to ask yourself if you are acting right or wrong and act the way you’re acting . For example if i’m acting right i have to continue acting that way. So if you’re driving your car and there's a stop sign and you think about passing the red light, you also have to think if you’re doing the right or wrong . that's why i always think about things before doing them. The reason why i think before doing it is because i don’t want to do something wrong .I always have to do the right because that’s accordingly.  This is the reason why i agree with Otto Graham Jr .

“Act well your part; there all honor lies” -Alexander Pope

What alexander is trying to say is that a person could lie to be honored for something that they don't deserve because it was all just a lie. That’s why you have to act well in your part because you don’t want to be telling other people lies. That’s why you always have to be honest for you could be honored fairly. So that’s why you have to be honest with yourself. That’s why you have to act well your part. For example if you cheat on a test that was your final and another person loses but actually studied for that test and didn’t pass and you passed because you cheated then you’re going to be honored by lies. Then that is going to be wrong because while you pass without studying and cheating then you’re not doing well to yourself. That’s why don’t say lies. Always  be an honor person. This is why i agree with Alexander pope
