Medical assistant

A medical assistant is an allied health professional that supports the work of physicians and other professionals. It's usually in a clinic setting. Medical assistants can become certified through an accredited program that is usually offered through a junior or community college.


Duties and responsibilities: administrative duties include them answering telephones, greeting the patients that enter the clinic and to fill the patients medical records and filling out insurance forms. They also schedule your appointments.

Salary: 30,590 USD


Education: medical assistance typically graduate from a postsecondary education programs. Although there are no formal educational requirements for them them to become a medical assistant in most of the states.
