President Day
What is presidents day? Presidents day is an American holiday to celebrate on the third Monday in february. It was originally established in 1885 im recognition of President George Washington, it’s officially called “Washington’s Birthday” by the federal government.


When is it ? it’s traditionally celebrated on february 22 Washington’s actual day of birth the holiday became popularly known as President’s Day after it was moved as a part of the 1971’s Uniform Monday Holiday Act. they also attempt to create more three day weekends for the nation’s workers.

What are several ways to show honor and respect on President’s Day?
Like independence Day, Presidents Day is traditionally viewed as a time of patriotic celebration and remembrance. The holiday gained special meaning during the difficulties of the Great Depression, when the portraits of George Washington often graced the front pages of newspapers and magazines every 22 of February.

How can you show honor and respect on President’s Day?  The way i could show honor and respect in this day is by having a moment of silence for him.
