“A promise should never be broken” - Alexander Hamilton

You should never break a promise because a person had trust in you and you shouldn’t be telling other people their secret. If you promise not to do something that will put your life in danger then you shouldn’t break it because they care for you and you should keep your promise and not do that. For example if one of your friends tell you to promise her that you will start paying attention in class and for you to do your homework and you say fine then you have to keep it because you said you were going to keep that promise so then you should. You shouldn’t just ignore the promise you should be committed and actually stay home and actually do your homework. Because breaking a promise will hurt you and the person you promised, you will hurt that person’s feelings and you’ll hurt yourself. So yes i do agree with Alexander Hamilton because you should keep a promise and not break it because that shows you as a person . because people want to know you and if you could be trust worthy.
